Educational Requirements for SRA Designation
Unless AQB Criteria for general or residential certification is attained, the following exams are required:
- Basic Appraisal Principles - View Classroom and Online Schedule, or Challenge Exam Available
- Basic Appraisal Procedures - View Classroom and Online Schedule, or Challenge Exam Available
Credit must be received for the following Appraisal Institute course and exam:
- Advanced Residential Applications and Case Studies/Part I - View Classroom Schedule
Credit must be received for the following Appraisal Institute exams:
- Residential Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use - View Classroom and Online Schedule, or Challenge Exam Available
- Residential Site Valuation and Cost Approach - View Classroom and Online Schedule or Challenge Exam Available
- Residential Sales Comparison and Income Approaches - View Classroom and Online Schedule, or Challenge Exam Available
- Residential Report Writing and Case Studies - View Classroom and Online Schedule or Challenge Exam Available
- Real Estate Finance, Statistics, and Valuation Modeling - View Classroom and Online Schedule, or Challenge Exam Available
Additional suggested course:
- Advanced Residential Report Writing/Part 2 - View Classroom Schedule(May also be used for 45-Hour Demonstration Report Alternative)
